   Presumably, you are here in search of cryptography and/or security related files and information, and we hope you find what you need here.
  We try to keep our webservers filled with as much of our own content as possible, rather than simply providing links to other sites, but any links that we do provide to pages not our own are highly recommended.
  As well, if crypto and related topics interest you, there are several useful mailing lists we suggest you check out; Yashy-hack is a good resource for beginning unix/crypto/security enthusiasts and experienced professionals alike. Note that should you choose to subscribe to this or any mailing list, it's wise to "lurk" (ie, read posts without replying) for a few weeks, to help you better understand how the list works, before participating fully. This way you will avoid the discouraging mistake of getting flamed for posting something inappropriate or redundant.
  As unix is our operating system of choice, the majority of the material on this site will be Unix-related, where applicable . For example, if you have just installed Linux or BSD, and would like to learn how to secure it, we have an intro.to.ports.txt and a basic.firewall.txt which are archives from the Yashy-hack mailing list that you may find useful.
